Hempcretesaunas
Steam Spirit builds hempcrete saunas that breathe - spaces where natural materials and ancient craft meet.
An older kind of knowledge
Rooted in long-standing sauna tradition and centuries of Northern European practice.
Built to breathe, designed to last
We build with hempcrete – a material that lets the sauna hold a living microclimate. Warm and breathing, never sealed or artificial.
Where architecture meets ritual
A simple, archetypal form – compact and grounded, where light, warmth and ritual stay central.
Hempcrete – a better way to build
The material is CE marked and complies with EU construction standards.
Excellent thermal performance
Strong natural insulation and high thermal mass, helping regulate both temperature and humidity. This creates a stable indoor climate year-round while reducing the need for excessive heating or cooling.
Healthy, non-toxic environment
Hempcrete is a natural, non-toxic material that does not emit harmful chemicals. Its breathable structure supports better indoor air quality and helps reduce indoor pollutants.
Made for generations to come
Hempcrete is highly durable and naturally strengthens over time. Used for insulation and non-load-bearing walls, it offers a long-lasting building solution designed to perform for generations.
